DEATHVALLEY / ITALY

a place p. (thanks again) and i went to, after taking a short and discret look at a abandoned factory nearby, wich was an aim for another action later on (in the end it was spared from hectolitres of paint.), in the south-west of milano, in a strip of land between the railway and a channel...somekind of deathvalley ,full of factories ,children playgrounds and parks , but wich left the impression on me of being rather useless...i imagine the view from one of the windows of the highrises on the horizon, (something most people only knew from "googleearth").anyway, there was this abandoned skeleton building, wich looked like a futuristic fossile and wich was partly inhabited by some roma, i guess. in the groundlevel floor was a part with plasicfoil closed windows and an ovenpipe sticking from a wall...a new home. the first floor was completly covered with a minefield of human excrements, something i really can't understand...but when i try to figure it out i could be somekind of ritualistic and psychological trick to scare away strangers, to mark the terrain....who knows? it was at least a reason for us not to stay there very long...and after taking a picture of a burning cathedral on the horizon, we went out again quickly.
