climbing the fence i came to after crossing the railwaytracks lead me to an area full of rusty debris. a lot of vehicle parts and tires were laying around. it seemed like it was once a wreckyard and someone has tried to grasp everything together and removed it to somewhere else, just some pieces have been forgotten...the main building in this area was a huge red brick factory building with a chimney, but there were also a lot of other buildings ,some locked up some were open or at last easy to enter. nearly everything was smashed up and vandalized with spraypaint...
the first building i entered was a garage with holes in the ground to reapair cars from underneath. but the first thing i recordnised when i got in was an orange "wunderbaum" hanging from a metalpipe, for me this was somekind of scary because i really hate these things and since fincher's seven i have spooky ideas when i find them in abandoned buildings (fucked up by movies, for sure.) but instead being filled with cut up corpses the place was filled with trucktires and another inbuild room with the be nicest camo-pattern i have ever seen, mold-camo! i took a deep breath and left and on my way out i found two flagpole on the floor.
the small house wich must have been a place to live for the gatekeeper of this property was also smashed up pretty much, but besides a lot of texaco-plasticbags the place was covered up with "home" grafitties. i went further and found out that the whole place was full of little rusty heaps of scrapmetal. and when i took a glimpse into one of the wooden hangars i saw a lot of vehicle lights on the floor.
circling around the maim building i came to a small building wich contained the electricity trafos and the main fuses. and close to it there was a wodden shed wich was crashed in by a big metal construction on its roof, this was really an odd sighting to me, was i workers joking around or perhaps somekind of freak accident? walking some steps further i came across a lightblue totempole located in a heap of trash...and from there i already saw the gatekeepers place, a little decayed house in wich little birchtrees were growing.
that was close to the main entrance of the factory wich was on the side of the building wich was covered in autumn red ivy. getting closer to the windows i saw that they were barricaded by razorwire, furniture and screwed on piles of woodpannels. nearly all windows were shattered. taking a look inside i saw shelves full of stuff and the traces of colourful spraypaint everywhere. on one door i found an eroded sticker with the logo PM and the word "autotalo" above it, i later found out that this was the name of a company wich has been using this complex in the end. after checking the doors i found one wich was open and so i got in. i went trough the halls and grazed the trash. i found used stencils and old pictures of the place when it was used for repairing cars.
in the part of the factory where the chimney was i came along a big old coal heating oven, it reminded me very much of a crematory because the doors were so huge...in this part of the factory there were a lot of pornoposters clued to the walls and the rust was eating through the male phantasies...some of the walls were very instable and huge cracks could be found everywhere...but still i went down into the heating cellar with its metal pipes and the cupboards full of spare parts. from there it was possible to get even a little deeper underground to a small tunnel with a conveior belt but after about 20 meters it was collapsed. next to the entrance of the tunnel were two small rooms and the floor of one was covered with matchstickboxes. the other one used to be a shelter or a new home once ,but the pillows on the floor were already rotten and nearly decomposed...
