CEMENT FACTORY 02 / GERMANY

this are some nightshots of the first visit at the teutonia cement factory....it was too dark, so we couldn't get a good view over the whole place...

we have been there some other day and checked out the place the whole day....there are several abadoned buildings in the older parts of the mines....there is an old tunnel covered in plants and filled with stinking water.....the parts of the mines still in use has also some old relicts : destroyed rails and a small train standing on rails as long as itself, damned to rot away....then we found an entrance into the ground, of course we followed it but we had only the display and the flashlight of the camera as a lightsource...the shaft ended two storys under ground in an building, with a huge rockbreaking machine...the chrushed stone is transported through the shafts up to the edge to the mines and from there to the factory....we have to follow the transport lines into the factory one day (better equiped than this time)....

some time later we have been there again and tried to get into the factory on the other side of the railway tracks. we managed to get in by entering the conveyorbeltbridge...but we didn't made it very far into the structure because they where still working ...we had to leave when we relized there where workers very close to the part we explored...
