POWERSTATION / GERMANY
these pictures were taken around and in several buildings next to the railwaytracks. there aren't very much because we were arrested for breaking and entering, by a group of six paramilitary-like s-bahn security guys with telescope batons....because they thought we were graffiti artist....on the other side of the road of these buildings is the trainyard, where several spectacular painting actions took place in the last years, the last big one was the complete covering of nearly all trains and the walls in the main hall...this was put out on the video "GRAFFITI HAMBURG"...sad that we ,who have nothing to do with such things couldn't do our job properly this one night....because there are some more buildings to explore and others where i have been inside without taking pictures...one was a huge powerstation building with transformators (still humming) inside..and the other one next to the hall-like wooden one used to be a place where several persons lived. one day i met one of them who told me that everything will be torn down soon and that he had to leave after he lived there for about 50 years..he was really angry about all this.
