RAILWAY STATION / GERMANY
the small railwaystation HANNOVER HAINHOLZ was closed down the 24th may 1998...because the whole place was locked up quite well ,we entered the building trough a crack in the wooden seals of the platform stairways and came down into a tunnel like room wich used to be the part of the station open to the public..but there where some other parts too, like the hall where the lugage/freight was stored maybe or something like a mail office used to be... and a very beautiful entrance to the cellar....down therewe didn't found very much exept a rusty sink and some broken furniture....perhaps the shaft would lead somewhere interessting but it was filled up with debris....and the saves were no sucess also...but when we discovered the original structure of the building, wich was covered up with the tunnel we saw in the first place the whole thing seemed to be very interessting suddently...the wallcovering of the older part were made of wood painted with chalk-notes instead of spraypainted tiles....there were strange things hanging on the walls( strange place to hang up your coat) and a woooden information board with a timetable for the leaving trains from 1972...by climbing onto the newbuild tunnelin the tunnel we could reach the original ceiling of the staition with its sleel pillars wich were rumbling when a train rolled over us , it was really scary because it seemed like the whole thing will colapse any moment...but somebody had found (and lost?) a new home in one of the arches...exept the roaring thunder of the trains every ten minutes it seemed pretty cosy...but it must have been abandoned for a while....
